We started out from Tripoli Road for a more interesting and secluded approach given this was Columbus Day Weekend. Excellent Covid trail etiquette practiced by everyone we passed on the trail.

First climbed steeply to the crest of Tecumseh’s West Peak with a side trail to a nice view toward Mt. Moosilauke.

Summit was crowded with most coming up from the ski area. The 2019 survey benchmark at the summit is inscribed with the newly measured height of Tecumseh as 3997 above sea level.

We know of a secret spot off the summit with views for lunch that we had all to ourselves! Great fall like temperatures on such a beautiful, sunny day!
