It was a great day for a hike - perfect climbing weather.
Since Jim and I were the only two hikers we added a few miles and some elevation to our hike (for a total of 12.9 miles and 4,200 elevation gain). Why you ask? Because Jim is red-lining the Whites and the Parker Trail was on his outstanding list.
We climbed via Mt Langdon Trail & Mount Parker Trail - hitting both Mount Parker and Mount Resolution. Great views !!! Along the way we found the "obscure side path" which lead to a "large, flat, open ledge with excellent views".
From there we continued to Davis Path & Stairs Spur Trail to Stairs Mountain - another beautiful spot.
Afterwards we made our way down the Davis Path to the Mount Crawford Spur Trail to catch more amazing views from Mount Crawford.
We finished our descent via the Davis Path. Oh, did I forget to mention we initially spotted cars.
What a great time - we climbed four mountains in one hike :)
