It was a beautiful fall day in Florida. The type of day that reminds you why you live in Florida.

From the very big (us) to the very small (hummingbird moth) there was always something worth looking at. Perhaps the highlight of the day was the bald eagle that graced us with his presence as we tended to sore muscles at the end of the hike. He was just one of many raptors that shared our hike including red shouldered hawks, peregrine falcons, ospreys, kestrals and northern harriers.

Attached are a few of the pictures from the day. Thanks to John for organizing this walk on the lake and to my fellow hikers who all added to a wonderful day out in the sun.
