Summary

We can meet at the boat launch on Newell Lane which is off from Forest Lake Rd. Folks can bring kayaks or canoes for an afternoon of fun in the water.

Later in the afternoon we can go inside the Forest Lake state park which spans 397 acres and offers a 200ft sandy beach.

Consider bringing lunch and a bathing suit!

At the end of the day, those of us with a sweet tooth can drive over to downtown Whitefield for an ice cream treat!
