Summary

I’m guessing come mid to late April the local wooded trails will still be wet and muddy.  So let’s do a beach walk.

Ogunquit Beach runs almost the entire length of the peninsula between the Ogunquit River and the Atlantic.  The beach is 3+ miles long.  We will walk a good portion of the main beach and also walk Marginal Way (2+ miles round trip).

In total the walk will be approximately 7-8 miles.  Total walking time should be about 3+ hours.  Afterwards let’s do lunch at a local eatery of the group’s choosing.

The Earth Day tides, at Ogunquit, will be in our favor with low tide at about 11 am.   So the beach portion of the walk will be on either side of low tide.
