Summary

ADDENDUM for Jan 13 outing: True to crazy New England weather, the freakish 60-degree temps and rain has melted all the snow on the mountain, and the slopes are closed until 4 PM.  I'm reposting this for Jan 27 with the hopes that the weather will cooperate better.

I'm going to Powder Ridge on Saturday Jan 27 and would love some company.  With all the beautiful powder we are getting, the slopes shoud be fantastic!

Powder Ridge is also the only mountain in the area to offer snow biking, which is a ton of fun and requires almost no skill beyond being able to ride a bike.

I listed the event for 11 AM but, for those who want to get a jump start, the mountain opens at 9 AM for holiday hours.  I woud suggest getting their early because the rental lines can be quite long.  We can meet in the lodge at 11 after everyone gets their gear together.  For those bringing their own skis and boards, helmets are also required on the mountain.  I have a light blue helmet so look for me.  Or, PM me to get my cell phone if you want to take a few runs first.

The mountain offers regular "lodge" food, but for those with a more distinguished palate, the restaurant and full bar upstairs at Fire at the Ridge is excellent.

If you have questions, PM me.  Hope to see a big group there!
