Summary
Join the First Annual Gay Men Camping CHRISTMAS CABIN!
This is a cozy private cabin in the woods next to a lake. I will be decorating the place in full force. It will be very Christmassy and fun. There are plenty of trails to explore for those that want to get out in the air. But inside there will be group games and activities for those that wish to join. Or just relax, eat, drink and chat.
RSVP PAYMENT:
You must pre-pay via PayPal after you RSVP by sending payment to the group. Please contact me for more information on how to do that.
Please note that a minimum (and maximum) of 10 paid RSVPs must be made per night. Act fast! You will be put on a waiting list if the date(s) you choose are full.
PRICING FOR ONE BUNK PER NIGHT IN CABIN:
$25 for one night
$35 for your choice of two nights
$50 for your choice of three nights
$60 for total of all four nights
Check-in time is 1pm (until 9pm).
Check-out time is 11am or earlier.
The cabin is very plain, not luxurious, but clean. It has 10 bunk beds. Mattresses are provided. They are like thick vinyl pads, but twin size. I did try them and they are completely fine. Nothing is provided.. so you must bring your own bedding or sleeping bag and pillow to put on top of the mattress.
There is a table with benches in the center of the cabin with a large fireplace nearby. The cabin heat comes from burning special pellets, and they are provided. There is a fireplace outside for cooking. There is no stove inside.
There is a standard refrigerator and a large pantry for storing food you bring. A large counter with shelves underneath. We will be calling the counter the sharing table. Basically anything you bring that you wish to share, be it snacks, drinks, utensils, condiments etc. will be on top of the counter. Anything under the counter is your personal stash.
There is not running water IN the cabin, but there is a secondary cabin for washing with potable water. It is suggested that each person bring a gallon of bottled water for drinking for each night you stay. Also, there are NO showers. You will have to wash the old fashioned way. So brushing your teeth etc. outside. I suggest bringing cleansing wipes. Especially if you are staying more than one night. There are toilets, but they are outside as well in outhouse type buildings. So no worries, you are not going in the woods. I would bring your own TP though. Just in case it runs out or something.
So it does not sound glamorous, but I intend on making it very comfortable and visually pleasing. Those that come the first night may be part of the decorating. And, yes, there will be a Christmas tree! A nice private spot in the woods in a heated cabin with a bunch of great guys. Join us!
