Summary

Enjoy a day of multiple possibilities on the Delaware River. Activities available include kayaking, canoeing, tubing, swimming and bike riding. Others may chose to just socialize or walk the scenic canal paths. I will be providing basic grill food such as hot dogs and hamburgers and diet soda and bottled water. You can bring any alcohol for yourself. Offerring to bring a covered dish or dessert is greatly appreciated. but let me know ahead of time so we don't get too much of the same thing.

You can bring your own kayaks, canoes, tubes or bicycles. Kayaks. canoes and tubes are available nearby to rent if you don't have your own. There are no bicycle rentals in the area. I suggest arriving at 11AM if you are doing an activity as it takes time to get organized. I will be taking one group of 5 or 6 people up river to tube at noon. I will take a second group later if there's enough interest.

You may stay over Saturday into Sunday either camping on the lawn by the river or on my large deck. There is a nice place for breakfast nearby.  Then you can ride along the Delaware to New Hope on Sunday for the afternoon tea dance. Let me know if you want to make a weekend of it.

Thanks Charlie for hosting this gathering. I enjoyed meeting everyone and floating down the Delaware. It was an enjoyable and relaxing afternoon.
