Weather forecast for Saturday is all over the place. It looks like the morning is not bad. Rain after 1 or 2PM? If I move the hike to 9AM, would that be a problem for anyone? I'll look at the weather again tomorrow and then decide.

Hey the parking lot for Starr King is a mess - low clearance vehicles might not make it. I would park on route 2 - there is parking by the Irving gas station (corner of Route 2 and 115A). Walk east on route 2 for a few minutes then take a left on Starr KIng road - walk to end of round (a few minutes walk).

Do you ever get déjà vu? As of yesterday, it looked like the rain was going to hold off until later in the afternoon, as with our last excursion in South Boston. As of tonight, it looks like the thunderstorms will be moving in around 11 am. I’m going to give it another day, but this may be another washout. Do you ever get déjà vu? :)
