SUMMARY: We will hike from the Shea Rink to Chickatawbut Hill and back for a round trip total of about 5 miles. Saturday's weather is supposed to be in the mid-40's and partly sunny (ok, that also means partly cloudy, but the glass is half-full). The ground may be wet in areas due to Friday's rain, so don't wear shoes that can't handle wet spots. Bring lunch, and we will have it at one of the overviews. It should be warm enough to be able to do so. Dogs are generally ok in this hike, but be aware that even in winter this is still a popular hike, and that there will be other hikers with dogs...who may not be as well behaved as yours.
