This hike had probably the easiest 12 mile section of the AT that I have been on. Through out its length the ascents and descents were very mild, The first 8 miles of the hike had almost no rocks or roots on the trail. Easy walking. The last 4 miles did have some roots and rocks, but nothing difficult at all.

Perhaps 60% of the hike ran along the ridge line. A muggy day, but there was an abundance of breezes to keep us cool. This hike was under and full tree canopy for the whole length. No panoramic views, just lovely forest.

Two of us did this nice hike.
