Driving directions to the location and spot to meet at:

If you are participating in the Second Florida Gay Outdoors Gathering, we will meet in front of the Main Lodge at 9:00 a.m.  We will try to arrange carpooling so as to limit the number of cars driving to the refuge.  It takes about an hour to get there from Vitambi, so we will try to start the hike at around 10 a.m.  Directions to the refuge from I-75 are as follows:  From I-75 (Alligator Alley), take exit 80 (State Road 29) heading north towards Immokalee.  The entrance to the Refuge will be immediately on your left (west side of SR 29), approximately 1/4 of a mile from the Interstate exit.  If you are not coming from Vitambi, please let us know when you sign up, and note that the 10:00 a.m. meeting time at the trailhead is an approximation.
