Hi Bob. I probably would hike at a faster pace. I'll join you again on the next one
Reminder: Since this is a group hike, I would like to try to keep the group together for the entire hike- so we will take breaks along the way to keep everyone together. The hike will take about 4 hours to the summit, 30 minutes for lunch, and 2 hours back down - so about 7 hours If this time line is significantly slower or faster than you would like, please reconsider hiking this trip.
Weather is looking great for the hike tomorrow. Reminder: We are meeting at the Cog Railway Hiker Parking Lot at 8AM. It costs $10/car. If you want to save money, you can park at the Ammonoosuc Trail Parking Lot about 0.5 miles down the road & then hike up the road & meet us at the Cog Hiker Parking Lot. It is $5/car or free if you have a parking pass. After the hike, everyone is invited to my house for a pot luck dinner & swim in the pond.
Sorry we can't make it. We have a wedding.
I'm back for August 16th tho! Yay
Mo and I are still in. Bring it on, baby!
Not able to make this one either. Hope you all have a great time
I can't make Sunday either, bummer!
I can't make Sunday, unfortunately. Have fun everyone!
Thanks for the update. I wish you all to have fun as I'll be dropping off the hike.
I decided to switch the hike to Sunday because Saturday will be rainy. On Sunday the weather should be much better. I will send out the Mt. Washington forecast on Friday evening so you can be prepared. Hikers are welcome to stay overnight on Saturday night at my house in Sugar Hill NH if desired. We can do a Potluck or Pizza Saturday eve. Please take yourself off the hike if you cannot do the hike on Sunday.
Please ignore the "waiting list" - Everyone on the "waiting list" can come on this trip.
