Saturday night was chilly so we after returning to the campground from our awesome hike, we got the fire pit started early, got our showering done, and several of us prepared meals while all enjoyed our favorite drinks of beer, wine or bourbon & coke.  After dinner, we had some cake and ice cream and shared life experiences and kept warm.

The next morning was chilly (53F) but getting the fire started helped as did walking around.  A black bear was spotted in the brush just a stones throw from our campsite and soon the park service got it to move along.

We all got our campsites packed up and ready to head out but we did our short Sunday hike first at Bear Fence trail just a few miles south of the campground.  After the hike (90 minutes) we headed back to the campsite to hook up the trailer and head home.  Another successful and very enjoyable camping weekend accomplished.  It's hard to believe the camping season is coming to a close with just one more camping event planned for September.  I'm hoping to get one last one for October but places are filling up quickly.
