This AT hike will be a one way, south to north 12.7 mile hike from Walnut Mountain Road to Dennis Cove Trailhead.
At 1.7 miles we should have views of Grandfather, Roan, and Beech
...The meeting place for this hike will be the Subway Restaurant located at 4861 US-19E in Hampton, Tennessee. Zip Code 37658. The phone number for the Subway is (432) 725-2400.
We will be leaving the Subway at 8:30 sharp for the trailheads. Please arrive earlier for breakfast and instructions.

This hike finished up this part of the the Tennessee AT for me. We covered about 13.3 miles onthis hike. Again we were hiking in the Cherokee National Forest.
