Enjoyed reading the report and viewing the photos - love the one of the flying jay! Your photos reminded me of a hike I did years ago breaking trail from Mizpah Cutoff heading toward Jackson, but I lost the trail and too many spruce traps for safety, so took a few pictures before heading back to the cutoff. I'm surprised you encountered so many people in the Eisenhower area, but I guess that was due to the end-of-year holiday traffic.

Wow...what a beautiful day you had! And the pictures...awesome!!! Love the gray jay in flight. Jon and I tried coming down and unbroken Edmands Path a few years ago. There was so much snow and sidehilling made us concerned about avalanche danger so we turned around. Glad you are starting the New Year in style! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Now back to Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen on CNN...LOL
