Summary
Walk off all that Turkey you just ate the day before.
This will be a meandering hike covering the Wibird, Haymarket Square, Downtown and South End neighborhoods of Portsmouth.
A BIT ABOUT PORTSMOUTH

PROPOSED HIKE
On Friday, November 29 we will meet at 10:00 am.
We will cover 6+ miles (can’t walk the entire distance – then grab an Uber and meet us for lunch).
We will meet in front of the John Paul Jones House on the corner of State & Middle Streets.
We will walk the Wibird neighborhood – a charming up and coming residential area. Then we will head into downtown as we pass many of Portsmouth’s historic landmarks. We’ll grab lunch then tour the waterfront and South End neighborhoods. After all our walking we may want to get a mid-afternoon snack.
Directions To Trailhead Parking Lot
Meet at 10 am at the John Paul Jones House on the corner of State & Middle Streets.
There is parking in downtown garages. Parking along Middle Street (and side streets) is also an option and free.
