Summary

This hike is scheduled to coordinate with the BOSTON BLIZZARD BLAST which is on Saturday, January 26, 2019.

We will hike after lunch, from 1 pm to 5 pm, ending at Cathedral Station Bar & Pub on 1222 Washington Street.   Make sure you eat lunch prior to joining.  We will probably stop for a break/beverage along the way.

This will be a meandering hike covering areas in Back Bay, Beacon Hill, the North End and parts of the South End.   We will start in the Public Gardens – (plan to meet at the statue of George Washington in the Public Garden).   From there we will  head down Commonwealth and then walk back along the Charles River Esplanade.  From the “Flat Side” (Charles Street area) we will meander thru Beacon Hill.  We will then head down to Haymarket making our way to the North End hitting some of the highlights in that neighborhood.  Via the waterfront, we’ll walk our way thru downtown and cover parts of the South End.  Finally arriving at our destination - Cathedral Station.
