Summary

Tecopa Hot Springs is located in Tecopa, CA, in the S.E. corner of Death Valley (the valley itself, not the state park).

FYI, the hot spring pools at Tecopa are pretty much 100% nudity required in the water, so do plan to get naked if you come with us.

The trip is about 230 mi. (3.75-4.5 hrs.) from the S.E. area of Garden Grove, and we have one car leaving from there with room for 2 more guys, and are looking for more to drive out so we can hopefully fill a cabin at Delight's Hot Springs Resort (best rated spot in Tecopa), which sleeps 6 in 3 big beds.  -:  We're staying in a smaller unit that sleeps now.

There is a lot of space a distance from the main road for hiking (nude if you get a mile or more off the road & away from any buildings), or for desert solitude.

There's no potable water (clean to drink) in Tecopa (or nearby) on tap, so you need to bring your own drinking water - recommend 1 gal./day - or buy some for around $3 a bottle (1.5-2 ltr).

Bring a change of clothes (or 3!) for a range of weather, as it may be warm in the day, but cold at night! Also suggest a robe to wear to/from hot spring pools, as we plan to stay right around the building from the pools!

We're asking a $150 deposit if you're staying with us & sharing food with the group's buy... Incl. in the above, food is est. $10/day (counting end of first day & part of next - dinner Fri., 3 meals each Sat. & Sun., & breakfast and an early lunch on Mon.). If not wanting in on food (we'll try to be a bit health conscious!), then it's $140/day. You do not have to stay all 4 days/3 nights, but it's recommended as 3 nights due to the distance. And, if you're staying in your own room, tent, or RV& getting your own food somewhere, then it's free other than the various expenses you encounter. Besides the time together in the hot spring pools, we'll have time for board/card games, massage trade, body scrub trade (or just wash someone else), and even some sight seeing!  -:  We're now going different days and will only stay 2 nights and have a smaller unit, so inquire as to rate if interested...  Should not be more than $100, but I've not done the math yet.  :)

Tecopa is home to the China Ranch Date Farm, plus there's also the Death Valley Museum in nearby Shoshone, as well as other things to see and do, depending on distance you wish to drive/hike.

Plan to hang nude with us in our main cabin, as well as in the hot spring pools, and relax all over!

There is a restaurant open on Delight's property, as well as another in Tecopa, and a cafe & bar in Shoshone.

BTW, the only gas in the area is in Shoshone & quite pricey, so fill-up in Baker, which usually cheaper gas than in O.C.

We will plan to stop at least twice along the way to/from for food, gas, and to stretch!  Suggested spots, should you wish to meetup there, are in Victorville (or near) and Baker.

Come and relax with us a while, whether it's for 1 day ($15-$20 for a day pass at Delight's office) or buy-in for a day with us for longer access to the pools!... Or stay the night or 3!

FYI 2: Tecopa's waters are smooth as silk, and very relaxing, and is reported to ease Arthritis and whatever else "ails ya".
