Join Wholesome Queers for a peaceful walk through one of southern New Hampshire’s hidden gems! We'll explore the Rhododendron Loop Trail, an easy 1.6-mile hike winding through a lush hemlock forest filled with moss-covered rocks, towering evergreens, and massive rhododendron thickets. This beautiful preserve is managed by The Nature Conservancy and offers a chance to slow down, connect with nature, and enjoy some gentle movement together. Along the way, we'll keep an eye out for birds, wildlife, and the trail's famous rhododendrons, which create a magical woodland atmosphere. Trail Details: • 1.6-mile loop • Easy difficulty • Approximately 45–60 minutes of hiking • Mostly flat with gentle elevation changes • Kid-friendly What to Bring: • Comfortable walking shoes • Water • Bug spray (recommended) • Weather-appropriate clothing • Binoculars if you enjoy birdwatching Please Note: • Dogs are not permitted in the preserve • No camping, fires, or wheeled vehicles • Trail conditions may be muddy in some areas after rain Whether you're looking to meet new people, spend time outdoors, or simply enjoy a quiet forest walk, we'd love to have you join us!
