Holderness, NH

Max # People: 15

SUMMARY:
Join us for a relaxing summer float down the Pemigewasset River! This is a DIY tubing adventure where everyone brings their own tube and spends a few hours floating through one of New Hampshire’s most popular river stretches. Unlike commercial tubing trips, there are no rental or shuttle fees. Just bring your tube, gather some friends, and enjoy a day on the water. Put-In: 86 Livermore Rd, Holderness, NH 03245 Take-Out: Green St, Plymouth, NH 03264H Estimated Time: Approximately 2–3 hours on the water, depending on river flow and water levels. Difficulty: Easy to moderate. No paddling required, though participants should be comfortable around water and capable swimmers. Logistics: We'll be using a simple shuttle system. Participants should first park a vehicle near the take-out location in Plymouth before driving to the put-in at Livermore Falls. Additional coordination details will be provided closer to the event. What To Bring: • Your own tube or river float • Life jacket/PFD (required by NH law) • Water shoes or old sneakers • Sunscreen • Hat • Water • Snacks • Dry bag for your phone, keys, and wallet • Towel and change of clothes for afterward • Cash for parking just in case Important Notes: • This event is weather and river-level dependent. • Water levels can be low during parts of the summer, which may require occasionally lifting yourself over shallow sections. • Stay clear of Livermore Falls and avoid swimming near moving water around the falls area. • Watch for submerged rocks, branches, and other natural hazards. • Participants are responsible for their own equipment, transportation, and safety. • We strongly recommend floating with a buddy and not separating from the group. Cost: Free! Just bring your own tube. There may be a small parking fee at Livermore Falls depending on the season. After the float, anyone interested is welcome to grab food or drinks in downtown Plymouth before heading home. RSVP if you'd like to join us!
