SUMMARY:
Join us for a hike up to Mt. Cannon via Lonesome Lake. We will meet at the Lafayette Campground and hike up the Lonesome Lake Trail to Lonesome Lake. After reaching the lake, we will continue around the lake and hike further up to the Kinsman trail which will lead us to Mt. Cannon. Hikers that don't want to continue can turn back at this point. Weather conditions are looking good. Anticipate some mud, monorails, snow - we will need microspikes.The hike up to Cannon Mountain via Lonesome Lake is 6 miles with a 2381 foot elevation gain (6-7 hours total). https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/new-hampshire/cannon-mountain-loop-trail--2
