SUMMARY:
Join us for a scenic loop through Beaver Brook featuring peaceful ponds, wooded trails, and a short ridge climb with beautiful views. This trail offers a nice mix of terrain. We’ll start with relatively flat, easy walking around the ponds, then gradually work our way up to a slightly more challenging ridgeline section before looping back down. Hike Details: • Distance: ~4.4 miles • Elevation Gain: ~275 ft • Estimated Time: 1.5–2 hours (group pace) • Route Type: Loop Difficulty: Moderate (Beginner-Intermediate Friendly) This is a true moderate hike. Not overly strenuous, but not a flat walk either. Expect: • Some uneven and rocky sections • A few gentle climbs, especially on the ridge • Steady movement with minimal long breaks If you’re comfortable walking a few miles and handling mild elevation and uneven footing, you should be good for this one. What To Expect: • Pond and marsh views • Forested, shaded trails • Wildlife spotting opportunities • A short ridge section with nice scenery Additional Notes: • Trail is well-marked and easy to follow • Hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, water, and bug spray recommended • Dogs allowed on leash • Please assess your own fitness level before joining to keep the group moving smoothly
