About the Hike: Mount Moriah's summit is 4,049 feet. It is part of the Carter-Moriah Range in the White Mountains. We will take the Carter-Moriah trail, from Groham NH. The trail goes over Mount Surprise (a 2,194-footer with great views of its own) on its way to reach Moriah's summit. The summit is bare rock, above tree line, it offers incredible 360° views of the Presidential Range and the rest of the Carter-Moriah Range. Hike Type: out and back Estimated Elevation Gain: 3250 Round Trip Distance: 9.1 miles Estimated Duration (with breaks/lunch/pics): 7 hours
