SUMMARY: Join GayOutdoors for a fall walk through history at Minute Man National Park. Two hundred fifty years ago, this was the site of the opening shots of the Revolutionary War. The path follows the route the British troops took towards Concord to seize military supplies and ammunition, and the counteractions by the colonists to repulse their advances. The path is about five miles long and will take us about three hours to complete. We will meet at the Minute Man Visitor Center at 210 North Great Road, Lincoln, MA 01773. There is ample parking and no cost for admission. We will park a car or two at Meriam’s Corner Parking Lot, 751 Lexington Road, Concord, MA, where we will end the walk so that we can carpool back. Bring your lunch, and we can eat al fresca. I hope you can join us!
