Featured Presentation:

“Out in the Wild: One Man’s Journey from the Closet to the Summit”
By Mike Boisvert

An inspiring, heartfelt journey of identity, resilience, and the joy of finding a gay outdoorsy family in the wild. Mike shares how his love for the outdoors played a powerful role in his coming out and in fostering LGBTQ+ visibility over the past 50 years. Uplifting, personal, and powerful — you won’t want to miss it.

What to Expect:

  • Friendly name tags at the door
  • Bar with charming servers
  • Delicious hot hors d’oeuvres & appetizers (think sesame chicken skewers, mozzarella sticks, Spanakopita, scallops in bacon, Fruit-Cheese-Nut platter, and more!)
  • Raffle for REI gift cards ($100, $50, $25) — Sustaining Members only
  • Board update from President Carl Baker
  • Optional post-party dinner outings in small groups (e.g., Club Café)

Who’s Invited?

Everyone! You don’t have to be a GO member — bring friends! Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or just outdoors-curious, this is a fun, welcoming space to meet great people and learn more about the community.

Pro Tip: Upgrade to a Sustaining Membership and your party entry is FREE — plus you’ll be entered in our raffle and help support our programs all year long.

Let’s relive the adventure, share the laughs, and look forward to more trails ahead.

We can’t wait to celebrate with you.
