SUMMARY: Come join Q-MoB for a hike to a gorgeous waterfall at the High Falls Conservation Area near Hudson, NY. T?here is a little bit of easy elevation gain, potentially muddy parts if it has rained, and some of us will likely scramble across boulders to get to the base of the falls. There are definitely easy parts of this trail & we can divide into a turtle group that will go slow and a hare group that will cover more ground & elevation. WHAT TO BRING: Raingear, Good hiking footwear, water, snacks, trekking poles if you use them, sunscreen. On the morning of the hike, please check the weather for the hike location before you leave home so you know current conditions and how to dress for them. Please let us know your cell phone number when you register so we can text you 2 hours before the event should an unexpected weather threat arise that causes us to have to cancel the activity. AFTER-HIKE LUNCH: Please join us for lunch after the hike at Cooper's Daughter Spirits 284 NY-23, Claverack, NY 12513. They have a wonderful food truck, firepit, & great locally distilled spirits & non-alcoholic beverages.
