SUMMARY: This is a pretty challenging hike with close to a 3,000 foot gain. The effort is worth the view. The trail is technically difficult and a good pair of hiking shoes/boots is required. Bring plenty of water, sunscreen, hat, Fido (on a leash) and snack/sandwich. We'll go out to eat after the hike. We can decide on options.
