Summary

An O.C. social men's naturist/nudist group is planning a trip to Tecopa (MINERAL) Hot Springs in S.E. Death Valley to soak in some of the best water on earth, visit China Ranch Date Farm & the Death Valley Museum in nearby Shoshone and maybe more!

We will try to have a PC with DVD player for movies, since there's no TV's, radio, etc in Tecopa, which makes it the perfect spot to get away from it all, stargaze at night, hike, etc.

BTW, did we mention the hot spring pools require nudity and are separated by gender?

Our plan is to stay at Delight's Hot Spa "Resort", which has hot spring pools open 24 hours for their guests.

Also, there might be a chance to see some wildflowers on the way out there.

Let us know if you can offer rides or need one!

We want to leave early Friday 2/12, and return Monday 2/15, but you're free to stay as long or short as you like.

I implied above but did not say...  We do plan to share cabins and food, as well as rides, should you wish to cut costs!

They have cabins there that sleep 6 (or 7), but we could get cozier, if needed.

I'd like to get food for the group and bring it there, so we can have shared meals...  Things like DiGornos Pizza, spaghetti, chicken, lasagne, sandwiches, etc...  Based on the input I get from guys wanting in on it all.

Since I emailed on the answer to Skiviesman, I thought if someone else read this that I'd add we've had several not RSVP here, but email directly that they wanted to go. :) We have 4 guys, it would seem, for Fri/Sat nights and a 5th for Sun night as well.

Email me for deposit payment links... Looks like I can't post it here.

If you're wanting to stay with us in a cabin, and we get a large cabin, here's the breakdown on the cabin cost: 3 persons: $165 each 4: $125 each 5: $100 6: $90 7: $80 8: $70 This does not naturally incl. gas or food, the latter is a few comments back.

BTW, the hot springs in the area DO NOT have sulfur, but there are high levels of many elements, incl. lead, fluoride, and arsenic, which is what makes it unhealty.

Cabins have stove w/oven, microwave, and fridge or mini-fridge. MUST bring your own water (not safe to drink from taps there!) and other beverages.

BAMEN Posted Feb 2, 2016 at 3:04 AM

We plan to hang nude in the cabin, as well as in the hot spring pool (latter is the rule), but it's not a nudist resort, so you gotta dress at least moderately outside, at least near the facilities and along the main road. Knowing others experiences there and ours 2 years ago, I suggest bringing (if you can) an extension cord with 3 or more taps (to make a few things easier), as there are few outlets & are far apart. Also suggest a flashlight.

We figure we can keep food costs well under $10 a day, and maybe under $5! You can book your own room or camp site, or stay with us in a cabin with beds for 6+.

I was thinking it was posted with the announcement, but if you're ridesharing with us from O.C. area, we're asking a $150 deposit for all 3 nights for a share of room, food, and gas, but if you're driving your self, expect around $130.

BTW, we do have other events in SoCal, mostly in O.C. and the greater Long Beach area, and you can find us at: BA-MEN.Org
