Summary

Group Site G5 at the Anza Borrego State Park.  Plan on wildflower viewing and a hike to Maiden Hair Falls or the mud caves.  I'm pretty much open to anything.  Group potluck on Saturday night.  I booked this for a bunch of "outdoor" friends who never replied.  Figure I'd go to the source where people camp.  Donation of $20 to cover the cost of the group site would be great.  The group site holds a maximum of 25 people with a maximum of 6 cars.  Excess vehicles may be parked at the overflow lot, about a ½ mile from our campsite, and will be charged a day use fee by the park. Our site has running water, nearby bathrooms with flush toilets, and coin operated showers. The site includes a BBQ pit and shaded picnic tables, and we are within walking distance of the Palm Canyon trailhead & the Anza Borrego Visitors Center.

Directions To Trailhead Parking Lot

from Los Angeles, take the 10 or 60 east to the 15 south. Exit the 15 at Temecula on the 79 east. Continue through Aguanga and Warner Springs to the S2, which connects to the S22, and passes through Ranchita before descending into Anza Borrego. Follow the signs to the sate park, and proceed to the campsites.

From San Diego, take 163N to 67N to 78E to 79E to S22 to campground.  It's basically right by Borrego Springs.  Those who sign up, I will contact offline and get info to everyone.
