Summary

We’ll ride through the towns of Guilford (VT), Leyden (MA), Greenfield (MA), Deerfield (MA), Turners Falls (MA), Montague (MA), Gill (MA), Bernardston (MA), then back to Guilford (VT), passing over several picturesque bridges, rivers (The Connecticut, Deerfield & Millers Rivers) and the Turners Falls Bike Path.

The ride is moderately hilly with some wonderfully exhilarating downhills. Halfway through the ride we will stop in historic Old Deerfield for snacks!

Participants should be experienced cyclists and have road bikes, not hybrids or mountain bikes. This is a 60-mile bike ride and we will be riding at a moderate pace of 14-15 mph. Participants should have several 45+ mile rides under their belt this season and be comfortable with this ride distance. Maps will be provided at the beginning of the ride. We will meet in Guilford, VT just south of Brattleboro at 10.30, depart at 11am and expect to be done by 5:00.

Following the ride participants are invited and welcome to come to Frog Meadow B&B for a hot tub, BYOB social mixer & snacks!

Directions To Trailhead Parking Lot

We will meet just south of Brattleboro VT in Guilford Center at the parking lot of the “Blueberry Haus” 809 Guilford Center Rd, Guilford, VT (which is the intersection of Guilford Center Rd and Tater Lane)

Please plan to arrive/meet at 10.30 so we can depart promptly at 11.00

From Interstate 91 (north or south), take Exit 1 and make a right turn on Canal St/US 5/Calvin Coolidge Hwy, proceed appx 2.2 miles to Guilford Center Rd and make a right turn. Continue .8 miles on Guilford Center Rd to the Blueberry Haus on the left and park in the lot.

hey guys- I need to move the date of this ride to Sunday 10/5 and want to give all a heads up prior to making the change. Hopefully this is not an issue and you'll be able to ride with us on Sunday. Lemme know, thanks // Scott
