Trip Report/Photos
Thanks to the cooperation of the weather, the four of us who attended had a great time. As planned, we spent Saturday hiking into and enjoying the Rock River. This is a very special place that a number of gay men have worked hard to preserve for public use. On Sunday, we visited the Ledges, which everyone also enjoyed. If you haven't already, be sure to read Mike Boisvert's article at https://www.gayoutdoors.org/page.cfm?typeofsite=storydetail&id=560&storyset=yes and visit the Rock River webpage at http://www.rockriverpreservation.org/.
This was the first time that Jeff and I expanded one of our camping trips into a GO trip, but it was such a good experience that we will be doing it again in the future.
