Trip Report/Photos

We all met in N Conway and decided to have a filling lunch before heading up the mountain. We had a delicious meal of Indian food at Shalimar. Then off to the mountain. Weather the entire time was flawless - no clouds, no wind, great temps. After huffing and puffing up N. Doublehead, we settled into the cabin. Then we hikes the ridge from N to S Doublehead to catch the views of Jackson Valley as well as the views of the Presidentials, Wilscat Ridhe and most of Carter Moriah Ridge. Foliage at peak!!! Then socializing, noshing, and chat. When the sun had gone down, we implemented plan #2 - we completed a nighttime naked hike to S peak and back. So clear you could see the lights atop Washington. Took our time in the morning and eventually got off the mountain and brunched at Sunrise Shack. Last event was a visit to Diana's Baths in N Conway. The sign said baths. We are a group of gay hikers. Just had to check it out. But remember...what happens on Doublehead stays on Doublehead. BTW  this would be an awesome winter event.
