Featured Photo

This hike just had two of us on it. We spent 9 hours on the trail and enjoyed the many rest areas. The morning started off at Stecoah Gap with a nice view looking down on Lake Fontana covered with clouds.

It was a nice sunny day and sometimes we got a nice breeze. Not many view points on this hike except for Cheoah Bald that was not bald. Beautiful forests and with a variety of colorful flowers. Only saw eight other hikers on this hike.
