This hike will travel south to north on the Appalachian Trail from Deep Gap to the Timber Ridge Trail to USFS 67. 8.1 mies will be on the AT.

The meeting location for this hike will be the Huddle House in Franklin, NC. It is located on US 441 just south of the US 441 and US 64 interchange.

 

The Huddle House is at the corner of US 441 and Allman Drive at 361 Georgia Road (US441).

Be sure to arrive at the Huddle House by 9:30 AM. We will be leaving for the trailheads at 10:00 AM.

Nice hike and full of flowers. There were only two of us on this hike that traveled south to north from Deep Gap to Timber Ridge Trailhead. Very pleasant 66 degrees at the start of the hike with 73 dgrees at the finish in the afternoon.
