summited westkill today, completing my catskill 3500. the trail was beautiful and hard and fun in the way many of catskill peaks are: steep and stony, beautiful terrain, woodland sounds (or silence) and smells, some mud, and a knockout view from buck ridge lookout.

met several fellow 3500 apirants and completers on the mountain which is always a treat.

an excellent day on the trail.

hmmm...guess i need a new hiking goal.  :-)
