Summary

Join us for a 45-mile road ride through the beautiful Connecticut River Valley! Known by locals as the “Tri State Ride” because it goes through the states of Vermont, Massachusetts and New Hampshire, this ride is like riding through a real picture postcard.

The ride is moderately hilly. Half way through the ride we will stop in Northfield, MA at an ice cream stand for snacks and an ice cream cone! Participants should be experienced cyclists and have road bikes, not hybrids or mountain bikes. We will be riding at a moderate pace of 14-15 mph. Maps will be provided at the beginning of the ride.

We will meet at 11.30 in Brattleboro, depart at noon sharp and expect to be done by 4:00. Following the ride participants are invited and welcome to come to Frog Meadow B&B for a BYOB social mixer, hot tub and dip in the pond.

Note that overnight lodging is available at Frog Meadow. Paid GO members receive a 10% courtesy lodging discount.

The rain date for the event is Sunday September 23

Directions To Trailhead Parking Lot

Hey Guys! Checking in re this weekend's ride...looks like the weather will be 60's and partly cloudy so a not-too-hot and pleasant day. As a reminder, there's an optional BYOB hot tub social mixer back at Frogmeadow following the ride and a place to pick up snacks, drinks right by where we're parking. Please let me know any questions and if it looks like you're unable to join us so we have an accurate headcount. Looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday // Scott & Dave at Frogmeadow
