Summary

Please join me for this 3-4 mile mid-spring hike through these 3 conservation/reservation areas in Belmont.  Bring water, snacks and a lunch and wear appropriate walking shoes.  Parking will be tight so anyone who can carpool would be encouraged to do so.  Map for Lone Tree: http://www.belmont-ma.gov/sites/belmontma/files/file/file/lone_tree_hill_trail_map.pdf.  Map for Rock Meadow/Beaver Brook: http://www.mobilemaplets.com/showplace/11660

Directions To Trailhead Parking Lot

Take Route 2 to Exit 56 (Winter Street).  Turn south on Winter Street to Concord Ave.  Turn left onto Concord Ave and then next right onto Mill Street.  We'll be using the parking lots for both walking areas.  Street address for Lone Tree is 251 Mill Street.  Park in either lot (one more or less across the street from the other but Rock Meadow is a bit north of Lone Tree).  Please plan to meet at the sign board for Rock Meadow.
