Summary

Please join us on an easy-to-moderate bike ride on the Nashua River Rail Trail from Ayer, MA to Nashua, NH & return, a distance of about 22 miles.  On the return, if desired, we can stop for lunch at either Charlotte's Cozy Kitchen or Breen’s Diner in Pepperell, both of which are located near the trail and are open to 2:00 pm.

There are non-flush public toilets located both at the trail head in Ayer, MA  and at the trail head in Nashua, NH.

Directions To Trailhead Parking Lot

Meeting Place:  Meet at 10:00 AM at the Ayer Center parking lot (60 paved spaces)

Directions:
Take Rte. 2 east or west to exit 38B, then follow Route 111 north to the Ayer Rotary. Go halfway around rotary to Rte. 2A/111 (west).

After Ayer Center, across from the commuter rail station and a Mobil station, follow route 2A/111 to the right. It becomes Park St.

After about ¼ mile, take the first right onto Groton Street.  The driveway to the trail parking lot is on the right just before the rail trail crosses Groton St.

Two of my friends would like to do bike ride also but they are not GO members. Hope it is ok if they come. Thanks Rick
