Summary

Hedgehog Mountain is a relatively small mountain (at 2,532 feet) compared to it's neighbors, but offers great views in all directions.  We will hike the UNH trail in a clockwise direction for the best viewing approaching the summit.  We will plan on having lunch at the top before our descent back down.  The hike should take approximately 3.5 hours.  After the hike, everyone is welcome back to my place in Tamworth for snacks and to cool off at the swimming hole on the Bearcamp River directly behind the house.

Directions To Trailhead Parking Lot

Follow the Kangamagus Highway (Rte 112) for approximately 14 miles from the intersection of Rte 16 just south of Conway Village.  We will meet at the Downes Brook parking area which will be on the left, across from the Passaconway Campground.  We will be driving a red Ford SportTrac.
