Summary

A Hike along the Muddy River of The Emerald Necklace. http://www.emeraldnecklace.org/ From The War Memorial, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Fens_(Boston,_Massachusetts) to Jamaica Pond. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jamaica Pond. One way is 3 miles. You may want to hike back to start point. Otherwise, you may walk Pond St. to South Huntington Avenue. Bus#39 will take you back to The Fenway or its final destination, Copley Sq. Landscape Designer/Horticulturist (HikerBud) will guide us with show and tell of the foliage and trees we’ll be discovering. Good pace hike to enjoy the flora and fauna of this National Historic Parkland. Partners sharing; great opportunity for singles meeting other single men. Pack a lunch to lounge and enjoy The Pond. We’ll meet at The War Memorial across the street from 61 Park Drive corner Agassiz Road, Boston. There is no Red Sox game scheduled for this date, so parking in the area will be at normal rates.
