Summary

Join us for an easy walk in the woods on New Year's Eve.  The Champman Sanctuary comprises 160 acres abutting the White Mountain National Forest in picturesque Center Sandwich, NH.   Their website is www.chapmansanctuaryvisnywoods.com. There is no admission fee and the trails are open year round during day light hours.  If there is snow, bring snowshoes or cross country skiis and we will make an afternoon of it.  There are over 10 miles of trails that wind around ponds and woodland settings.

For those who may be interested, we are planning a New Year's eve dinner back at my house in Tamworth, a short drive from Center Sandwich.  We will be warming up a ham, please bring an app, side dish or dessert to share.  We are asking for a $10 donation to cover food costs and the champagne toast at midnight.  We will also be having a bonfire in the back field during the evening.  If you would like additional beverages during the evening feel free to bring them.

Sleeping is available for 6, plan on bringing a sleeping bag and a pillow. (Additonal $10 please)  Additional lodging is available a short drive away in West Ossipee.  We will also be doing a big breakfast on New Year's day.
