Summary: We will meet at Will Rogers State Park. From there take Uber or Lyft cars to Trippet Ranch in Topanga State Park and split the cost. If you have the Uber or Lyft app on your phone please bring it. This allows us to hike one-way, cover more ground, hike mostly downhill, and get back to our cars at Will Rogers SP. For those familiar with the trails we start on the Musch Trail along a grassy hillside and soon plunge into the shade of oak and bay trees.  We pass a trail campground and begin our winding ascent through chaparral.  Soon we will see the imposing Eagle Rock.  This layered sandstone outcrop is pitted with caves and is part of a 15 million year-old Topanga Canyon Formation. Eagle Rock is easily the most impressive landmark in Topanga State Park and affords great panoramic views of the surrounding canyons and the ocean.  On Rogers Road Trail we will descend to Will Rogers State Park to conclude the hike. This is a long hike but the pace will be moderate.
