SUMMARY:

Let's meet up for an enjoyable, and also quite a scenic bike ride, along the beautiful tow paths in New Hope, PA.   We will meet up at the very end of the parking lot of the Triumph Brewery located at: 400 Union Square Dr, New Hope, PA 18938

Dear Group Members:

I am very excited to have everyone meet each other for this leisurely bike event.  I have been a bit under the weather, and will not be able to attend this event.  I thereby would like to ask if someone could take over for me, and be the group organizer.  Please email me if you are interested.

With, or without a group organizer, I would love to have everyone meet up as was previously mentioned:  The Union Square Parking Lot (on Main Street). This is also where the Triumph Brewery is located.  It would make most sense for everyone driving in, to park their cars, at the very end of the parking lot, and find each other that way (at 11 am).  Be sure to pay at the muni meter which is dirt cheap (three dollars for close to three hours).

The  bike itinerary is as follows: leave parking lot, turn right, find towpath trail, which is several feet from the parking lot, then continue this trail to Stockton Bridge.  Walk over Bridge into NJ.  After a few feet make another right. This will take you into Lambertville. Lambertville is a quaint town. Make sure you grab some ice cream. You will see the Lambertville/New Hope Bridge-walk your bikes over this bridge and you will be back in New Hope on Main St.

Before going biking, I would strongly suggest making a reservation at Martine's Restaurant for lunch.  This restaurant is right over the Lambertville/New Hope Bridge.  Just make a right over the bridge.  It is on Main Street, and right before the Buck's County Playhouse.  The lunch is great, and view of the river is simply beautiful!

The Brooklyn and also New Hope meetup groups will also be joining the Gay Outdoors group

I am planning other bike events, and I DO INTEND to be at the next one which will be on a Sunday in the middle of May.

  Happy Riding!  Respectfully, Tom
