my boyfriend and i were looking for an easy/moderate hike in the southern or central california regions. we are both new to this so something more on the secluded side might be better. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have heard that the national parks are nude friendly, but I have never seen it. The only place I have regularly seen nude hikers was on the way to Deep Creek Hot Springs, but probably near any nude friendly place, like nude beaches, or hot springs would be good.

If in southwestern Oregon. The North Umpqua Trail ... into the Umpqua Hot Springs here in the Umpqua National Forest is a nude friendly hike and hot springs. In fact, there is a sign at the trail head that reads " Nudity ".

I used to live in Southern California. I do not know about the LA,/Orange County area and points east because I used to lived in the San Diego area. One of the places I always went to is of course Black's Beach. Nudists and clothed people all mingle together. For the most part, the clothed bathers generally have a "live and let live" attitude towards the nudists. The lifeguards frown on the nudists but they do leave you alone for the most part. There is also San Onofre State Park in Oceanside . As for national parks, I would not recommend you do that. The national parks are heavily patrolled by park rangers and being the national parks are federal land, being naked on federal property is a federal offense and you will be cited although it is only a misdemnor offense.
