I read that there was a break-in at the Rt. 9 trail head yesterday morning with a car having a smashed in window. There was fresh auto-glass on the ground so this was not the only one. Some local folks said there had already been four car break ins on the lot in the past week.  This is commonplace in VT. Jon had his car broken into a few years at Middlebury Gap and in another instance when I was in Vermont a few years before that someone removed two lug nuts in one of the wheels of our cars. The tire fell off the car when we started to drive off.
